The latest reports from the inner circles of production house says that, KingNagarjuna’s upcoming movie Damarukam is gearing up for release in the month of October on behalf of Dussehra. This is for the first time Nagarjuna is acting in a socio-fantasy film in his career. Anushka is playing heroine of the film. Prakash Raj is essaying an important role in this film.
Damarukam has completed its shooting except for a song. Teh last song shoot will commence in Hyderabad from August 27 and post production works are still on swing as this is a visual effects extravaganza and it is taking much time for VFX work . The movie is inspired from the novel The Immortals of Meluha written by Amish Tripathi. Dr. Venkat Reddy is producing the movie on RR Movie Makers banner.
Srinivasa Reddy is directing the film which is being made with a budget of Rs 40 crore. The audio of the film is scored by Devi Sri Prasad will hit the stands on September 10th.
