The latest reports from the inner circles of production house says that, KingNagarjuna’s upcoming movie Damarukam is gearing up for release in the month of October on behalf of Dussehra. This is for the first time Nagarjuna is acting in a socio-fantasy film in his career. Anushka is playing heroine of the film. Prakash Raj is essaying an important role in this film.
Damarukam has completed its shooting except for a song. Teh last song shoot will commence in Hyderabad from August 27 and post production works are still on swing as this is a visual effects extravaganza and it is taking much time for VFX work . The movie is inspired from the novel The Immortals of Meluha written by Amish Tripathi. Dr. Venkat Reddy is producing the movie on RR Movie Makers banner.
Srinivasa Reddy is directing the film which is being made with a budget of Rs 40 crore. The audio of the film is scored by Devi Sri Prasad will hit the stands on September 10th.
Sudigadu Censor Report ,Allari Naresh’s Sudigadu was censored today a short while ago. The Regional Censor board officials had awarded it with ‘U/A’ certificate. The movie reportedly came out very well and is by far the biggest Allari Naresh movie in terms of commerce. With this the movie is all set to release on August 25th.
The film is a spoof on all the mass Telugu films and superstars and is said to have satires on almost 100 blockbuster movies of Telugu and Tamil. Monal Gujjar is the leading lady. Bhimineni Srinivas Rao is the director of the film. Chandrasekhar D Reddy is producing the movie.
Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger is making fresh records with each passing day. Now the film which has garnered about Rs.59 crore at the box office in 3 days holds the highest ever first weekend collections record in Indian history.
"Ek Tha Tiger made an approx 11.75 Crores on it’s 1st Friday atthe box office. After opening to a humongous 32.92 Crores and grossing 14.55 Crores on it’s 2nd Day, Ek Tha Tiger looks pretty steady with 59.22 Crores in it’s pocket," reports Koimoi.com.
The movie might have seen a steady fall in its last two days but one can surely account that to working days not being huge grossing days. However, Ek Tha Tiger has created a new record at the Indian Box Office. In its 1st weekend (i.e. 1st 3 days run) it has grossed about 59 crores which is the highest ever in Indian history.
